Events and Activities 2026

Camping season at Lake Shore runs from April until the end of October.  We hope to be able to provide a variety of activities and events for all ages to enjoy throughout the season.  If you have any ideas or suggestions, please be sure to share them with our Entertainment Coordinator.  VOLUNTEERS are always needed and welcome to help ensure the events run smoothly.  

Memorial Day: May 23th Through May 25th

Sat May 23rd

8 am ~1030 Breakfast at the Shelter. $7 Per Person. Kids 12 & under $5

11 am ~ Cornhole Tournament-10$ entry fee

4 pm ~ Memorial Day Parade..Dress up those Carts!

9 pm ~12  Live Music by The Amy Newhart Band

Sun May 24th 

8 am ~1030 Breakfast at the Shelter. $7 Per Person. Kids 12 & under $5

12 pm Scavenger Hunt

4 pm Figure 8 race

6 pm Battle Balls Soccer Game

Spectacular fireworks display lighting up the night sky over Bournemouth Pier, England.Fourth of July: July 4th and 5th

Activities:

Sat July 4th

8am to 10am Breakfast at the shelter.  $7 per person.  Kids 12-under $5

11 am Belly Flop Competition at Pool

12pm  cornhole tournament. 10$ per team.

4pm Best decorated golf cart followed by golf cart parade @ 430pm in                    main  parking lot

530pm Figure 8 Race $5 per cart

8-12pm Live music by The HWY 30 Band

Sun July 5

8am to 10am Breakfast at the shelter.  $7 per person.  Kids 12-under $5

12pm Scavenger Hunt (meet at main office)

8 pm-12  Live Music provided by Claypool Block

 

 

Trick or Treating:  October 16th & 17th

Activities:

Friday Oct 16th 

Music by Walker Banks 8pm to 12pm

Decorating contests for the best golf cart and owner’s lot.

Pumpkin P/u 

Hayrides on Friday Evening 6 to 9 kid friendly

9pm Will have 2 or 3 haunted hayrides 

Saturday The 17th

Hay rides in the afternoon 12-3

Hot Cocoa and Popcorn from 12-2 at shelter.

Trick or Treating from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Children will go to the owner’s sites throughout the park.

Streets will be one way during this time for safety.
